What to do while you wait for us
- Confirm there is no fire. If there is any sign of fire, call 911.
- Locate the sprinkler control valve (riser room, exterior wall or valve box). Closing it stops the flow – but leaves the building unprotected, so reopen it as soon as the repair is done.
- Protect property below the leak and move electronics and paper away from the water.
- Keep the head. If a head activated or broke, keep it – it tells our technician what to replace.
- Call 800-784-8942 with the address, what happened and whether the system is still flowing.
Prevent the next leak
Most sprinkler leaks come from corrosion or physical damage that a regular inspection catches early. Ask about our annual NFPA 25 sprinkler inspection and the five-year internal pipe inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions
A fire sprinkler head is leaking / dripping. What should I do right now?
If it is a slow drip, place a bucket under it and call us. If a head has fully activated and water is flowing, find the sprinkler control valve (usually at the riser, often in a mechanical room or outside the building) and close it only after you are sure there is no fire, then call the fire department’s non-emergency line to report the impairment, and call us to repair it. Do not remove or plug the head yourself.
A sprinkler went off but there was no fire. Why?
Common causes are physical damage (a forklift, a ladder, a door), heat from a nearby light or heater, freezing in a dry area, corrosion, or an old head that failed. We replace the head, check the surrounding heads and get the system back in service.
How fast can you get here?
For a leaking or activated sprinkler we treat the call as an emergency and dispatch the first available technician – usually the same day in Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego County.
Do you repair sprinkler leaks in condos and apartments?
Yes. We work with HOAs, property managers and individual unit owners on both the common-area system and in-unit heads and piping.
Will you put the system back in service and notify the fire department?
Yes. After the repair we refill and pressurize the system, test the alarm, return it to service, and provide a written report. If the fire department or your monitoring company was notified of the impairment, we help you close that out.
